The Madrigal’s performances consist of three groups of singing performers as well as singing servers, musicians, and actors. The ensembles sing music of the renaissance era through contemporary music in madrigal style and traditional music of the season. Guests are served dinner during the performance while seated on the stage that has been transformed into a beautiful castle. These dinner shows generally take place during the early part of December even though auditions and rehearsals can begin sometimes as early as May. Performances for these ensembles outside of the dinners also include the Madrigal Sing-and-Share with the other Lincoln-Way schools, community performances and the Mokena and Frankfort Libraries. All booking inquiries should be directed to Mr. Granger. We have a limited number of spots available for performances that usually are filled by late August.
Madrigal Dinner performance dates for 2016 are December 1-3 and December 8-10.
